West Drayton London

After a severe fire damaged the popular local chip shop in West Drayton, we were hired to carry out the reinstatement works. These works involved a full M&E installation, including extraction, cooking range, and a walk-in freezer for the preparation area.

Initially, we removed all remaining fire debris and linings to start with a blank canvas. We then carried out full decontamination works, which included thermal fogging, shot blasting retained steels, and treating all timber to prepare for the reinstatement.

After first fixing all the new wiring, pipework, and ducting, we closed up all areas and fully replastered them. A new glazed shop front complete with an electric shutter was installed at the front, and aluminum doors with an electric shutter were installed at the rear.

The property was finished with ¾ high white gloss metro tiles on all walls, stainless steel cladding in the cooking areas, and PVC hygienic cladding in the preparation area. Poly safe vinyl flooring was installed throughout.

Finally, a new state-of-the-art four-burner range cooker, extraction hoods, and a walk-in freezer were installed to allow the client to resume operations.

While working on site, we were contracted by the managing agent to carry out repairs to the flat roof/terrace area at the rear to address a pre-existing leak into this and neighboring properties. This has led to a growing relationship, with further maintenance works being carried out for this client across their property portfolio..
